Fetterman for PA contributions

“Without Annie Siegel, there’s no telling what would have happened in the 2022 U.S. Senate race.”

Writing

Annie drafted web copy for the official Fetterman for PA campaign website as well as e-commerce copy for the campaign’s web store.

She weighed in on campaign content with a critical eye for messaging consistency that translated as effectively to urban voters as it did with the suburban, exurban and rural segments of the electorate.

Volunteer Training

Annie led virtual training sessions for volunteers, teaching them about relational organizing and guiding them through the Fetterman campaign’s peer-to-peer outreach tool, Reach, a popular digital organizing app populated by users’ personal contacts.

Fetterman for PA shrewdly used Slack to crowdsource and build a sense of community among proactive volunteers. The campaign’s official channel was moderated by staffers.

Fetterman for PA” shrewdly used Slack to crowdsource and build a sense of community among proactive volunteers. This open platform enabled supporters to virtually coalesce, exchange ideas, make announcements about grassroots action and enable the campaign to call attention to official events, including trainings (see above).

Organizer

Street canvassing on north Broad Street Philadelphia, PA

Annie initiated relationships with local elected leaders and community activists to identify “high interest zones,” where street canvassing would generate enthusiasm among “likely voters” and where Philly for Fetterman volunteers could, most effectively, register likely Democrats to vote while encouraging them to participate and support John Fetterman in the primary and general elections.

Annie organized and oversaw the aforementioned as well as planned, promoted and executed Philly for Fetterman “get togethers” and other special events.
